Values
Jesus was the smartest, most effective leader and teacher to have ever lived. Our values reflect the values that Jesus modeled in selecting, teaching, mentoring, and empowering His own disciples throughout His earthly ministry.

Statement of Faith
We believe that God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the three are co-equal and one with God.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and coequal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was born of a virgin and lived without sin, gave His life for the forgiveness of our sins, and rose from the grave victoriously. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King. We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that His life shows us how we should live in obedience and faithfulness to God.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who lives in each follower of Jesus. The Holy Spirit exists to make people aware of their need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit empowers Jesus followers to live transformed lives, obey God, love one another, and understand spiritual truth so that we may live under the lordship of Jesus daily. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and gives us the power and authority to proclaim Christ in our daily lives.

We believe that God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. The Bible is the authoritative Word of God, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, the Bible is truth without error. It is the supreme source of truth for Jesus followers and applies to all aspects of our lives. Followers of Jesus live in obedience to God’s Word.

We believe that each person is made in the image of God to be like Him in character. Because Adam and Eve sinned against God, we are all born separated from God, with an attitude of disobedience toward God (our fallen nature). Only through repentance, God’s grace, and trusting in Jesus Christ to forgive our sins can we be saved and restored to God so that we may live in our redeemed nature and experience abundant life through Jesus here on earth and eternal life with God someday. Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. God desires everyone to believe in Him, obey Him, glorify Him, and enjoy eternity with Him.
We believe that Jesus commands His followers to share the Good News of his life, death, and resurrection (the gospel) and to make disciples, true followers of Jesus, throughout the world.
